The single variety is most common and popular, but there is a double white variety as well.

White, but sometimes pale pink varieties are available.

Very fragrant. A few flowers can scent a room. Lily of the valley is widely used in the manufacture of perfume.
Freshness:
Most of the bell-shaped flowers are open, with just a few buds on top to bloom. If the flowers are closed on the stem when cut, they probably will not open.
Vase Life:
4 to 5 days.
Availability:
Lily of the valley flowers only bloom briefly in the spring, but they are available year round in limited quantities.

Spring - moderately priced.
