Arranging Tip:
Freesia flowers blossoms wilt from the bottom blossom up. When these spent blossoms are pinched off, the flower looks almost half-naked. Try attaching two freesia in opposite directions to achieve a fuller-looking flower for arranging. 
 
Growing Tip:
Freesia bulbs can be forced indoors in containers, but these little flowers require much more time and care to flower than other types of bulbs. Freesias need a strong light source during the day and cool nighttime temperatures. If exposed to the right conditions, they will produce flowers in four or five months from planting, The wait is worth the delightful scent. See flower growing tips, 10 and 11.
